Privacy Notice

Scope

Where Capital Meets Compute is a podcast published by Good AI Pte. Ltd. and its affiliates (“GAIB”, “we”, “us”). This notice covers this website and the episode newsletter only.

It does not cover the GAIB platform, its products, or any account you hold with GAIB. Those are governed by the GAIB Privacy Policy, which also applies to anything this notice does not address.

What we collect

Your email address, if you subscribe. The subscribe form collects the address you enter and nothing else — no name, no company, no phone number.

Your guest suggestion, if you send one. The Suggest a guest form asks for your name, an email address we can reply to, and a message about who we should invite and why. It is emailed to the show’s team and used only to consider the suggestion and reply to you. It is never added to the newsletter.

Usage data, if you accept cookies. With your consent we use Google Analytics to count page views and see which episodes people read. It sets cookies that recognise a returning browser and records pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser type. We use it for aggregate reporting only; we do not use it for advertising and we do not link it to your email address.

Standard server logs. Our host processes your IP address and browser user-agent to deliver pages and to defend against abuse. This is ordinary web-server operation and the records are short-lived.

This site never asks for identity documents, financial details, wallet addresses or transaction history. If you have given GAIB that information elsewhere, the GAIB Privacy Policy governs it — not this notice.

Cookies

The only cookies this site uses are Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>), which last up to two years. They are not set until you press Accept on the cookie banner, and the site works exactly the same if you press Reject.

We also store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage, so we do not ask again on every page. That record is strictly necessary and contains nothing that identifies you.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page. Withdrawing consent stops analytics and deletes the Google Analytics cookies we set. We run no advertising, no cross-site tracking and no behavioural profiling.

How we use it

• To send you an email when a new episode is published, if you asked us to.
• To consider a guest suggestion you sent, and to reply to it.
• To understand, in aggregate, which episodes find an audience.
• To keep the site available, and to investigate abuse or security problems.
• To comply with law, or to establish and defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use your email address to market GAIB products unless you separately opt in to that elsewhere.

Who else processes it

We use four service providers, all acting on our instructions:

• ActiveCampaign — stores newsletter subscriptions and delivers the emails.
• Vercel — hosts the site.
• Resend — delivers guest suggestions to the team by email.
• Google — provides Google Analytics, if you consent to it.

All four are established in the United States, so if you are reading this from the EEA, the UK or elsewhere, your email address, any guest suggestion, request logs and any analytics data are transferred there. We rely on the providers’ standard contractual clauses for those transfers.

Beyond those four, we disclose personal information only to our professional advisers, or where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe, and then removed from the active list within a reasonable period. Guest suggestions are kept in the team’s inbox for as long as they are useful for planning the show, and deleted on request. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account and used only in aggregate. Server logs are retained briefly for security and then discarded.

Your rights

Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link, which is the fastest way to stop hearing from us and to have your address removed.

You can also ask us to confirm what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to withdraw consent you previously gave. Depending on where you live, these rights arise under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act, the EU or UK GDPR, or California law. We do not charge for these requests and we do not treat you differently for making one.

Children

This site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this notice changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell subscribers by email where the change affects them.
